Sam loves to pierce and has the biggest heart for her clients. After spending 9 years as a professional makeup artist, she found herself working in a tattoo shop in Parker County. She was immediately drawn to the artistic environment and found herself easily able to connect with the clients and understand their needs. Her experience with makeup helped her tremendously during her piercing apprenticeship. Her ability to find the most aesthetically pleasing placement on all different faces, ears, and bodies shined, early on. Her attention to detail, dedication to always giving her best, and her commitment to continued education quickly made her a highly sought piercer in DFW. Sam is known for making her clients comfortable. She places herself in their shoes, to ensure they feel heard, understood, and confident in the process of being pierced and also in taking ownership of their aftercare. Clients always comment on her willingness to explain procedures start to finish, answer questions, and always make herself available for follow ups. Sam specializes in PEOPLE. Her desire is to make the 80-year-old grandmother or 45-year-old mom, equally as at home in her shop as the 20 something or teen. Everyone is welcome in her room. As a dedicated Mom to her INCREDIBLE children, Sam is known for her work with minors and children under 10. She has spent a great deal of time developing her own system for piercing little ones. She encourages parents to meet with her before taking the plunge for their kid’s first ear piercings, so that the experience is a positive and empowering one for the family as a whole. Sam works on the children of and is the recommendation of some of the most highly respected pediatricians in Parker County. She will spend any amount of time with your child, helping them to harness their power over their fears, when its something they truly want to do. Ear piercing can be one of our first opportunities to conquer our anxieties and leave with something we can forever cherish, when done with the proper care and patience. Born in El Paso, Madz found herself settled in Aledo to attend middle school, eventually graduating from Aledo High School in 2019. Art was one of the few constants she had growing up. Self-taught, she decided to pursue furthering her education at WCC studying Fine Art and Graphic Design through UNT’s program. Madz began tattooing professionally in 2021. Seeking to provide a space for connection and understanding, tattooing has allowed her to grow in ways she never could have anticipated alongside her clients. In addition to being a Tattoo Artist, she is a Singer/Songwriter, and an early morning barista. She enjoys many different creative hobbies, live music, hiking, rock climbing, rollerblading, photography, and supporting her friends and local creatives.”
